Homework
All homework must be done at www.bigideasmath.com. The problems match the ones in the book. If you cannot access this at home, I expect you to complete the problems using the book. You can enter the answers online at school.
We are doing online homework to increase learning. You will immediately know if you have done the problem correctly. I expect you to retry if your answer is incorrect. We do homework to LEARN, not just to have a page of answers.
Homework points will be given based on what you did correctly . (remember, you can retry the problems until they are correct) You need 80% or better to get a 10, 60%79% to get a 6, 4059% to get a 2 and less than 40% will be unsubmitted. You are expected to continue working on it. I will accept online honework until the day of the test, then it will be a permanent 0. Homework reviews will be graded on completion. You must show your work in your notebook.

Tutoring
I arrive at school about a half hour before school starts. You can stop by if you have a quick question or two and I will try to answer them. I use this time to get things ready for the school day. I you want a tutoring session, I stay 2 nights a week after school. The nights are posted in the classroom and can vary from week to week.
Bellringers
We start each day with a bellringer. It will be 2 review problems from Integrated 2A. A grade for the bellringers will be entered in the gradebook every 2 weeks.
Notebooks
Class notes and examples are to be written in a spiral notebook. All homework problems should also be done next to the notes. Each should be labeled with the section number (for example, notes 6.2, homework 6.2) Notebooks will be graded on the day of the test.
Reviews
Quiz reviews and test reviews are paper handouts. Quiz reviews will be done in class and graded with the notebook grade on the day of the test. Test reviews will be homework and will be a completions grade on the day they are due. (usually the day before the test)) They will be graded before we go through the answers in class.
