Hello and welcome to my page. My name is Mr. Mizmo, and I truly love teaching the students here at Merrillville High School. In my classroom, I try and keep an upbeat, enthusiastic classroom environment that really focuses on the engagement of the students.

Through engagement, I really try to diversify my lessons. In my classroom, a parent can see everything from students reading in textbooks, viewing media clips, writing creatively, creating presentations, listening to music, and playing instructive improvisation games. I truly believe that each and every student learns differently, and through multiple learning strategies, our students can truly become lifelong learners.

I encourage parents and guardians to ask their children about what happens in the my classroom. Please feel free to contact me. I am readily available to meet with any parents that may have a question or concern.
