    Course Description
    Biology A & B...
    ...is a course based on the the following core topics:  cells and life, basic cell chemistry, matter and energy transfer, relationships and interactions between organisms, molecular basis of heredity, basic genetic processes and change over time.  There will be an emphasis on science as both a process and way of thinking through forming hypotheses, using proper observation techniques, collecting data, using technology and analyzing information. Students will be required to actively engage in communication, debate, and argument by supporting conclusions with properly obtained evidence subject to peer review.  
    • 9th or 10th grade;  
    •         A two-credit, two trimester course
    •          General, Core 40, Core 40 AH and Core 40 TH diplomas
