About Me- I am from Indiana. I grew up in the Calumet Region.- Growing up, I participated in various activities. I was involved in cheerleading, band, student government, FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), high school musicals and dance (which was my favorite).- I attended Indiana University Northwest and Indiana University Bloomington for my undergraduate in Spanish Education. I also have a graduate degree in Administration from Ball State University.- In 2001, I recieved a Fellowship for National Endowment for the Humanities 400 Years of Spanish History Through the Works of Antonio Buero Vallejo.- I have a husband named Samuel and two kids. Samuel Jr. was born in 2009 and Abigail was born in 2011. We have a dog named Bella. She is a plush coat German Shepard.- In my free time I like to cook, ride my bike, dance and read. I enjoy reading the Bible or information books about how to be a better teacher or a better mom.- My goals in life are to be a good teacher and mom. My long term career goal is to be a private educational consultant.- My favorite place in the world is the Museum Campus in downtown Chicago. While there, I like to enjoy the scenery and ride bikes with my family.
