Expectations:Students are expected to:-exhibit proper and safe behavior at all times-arrive to class on time and remain in class for the entire period unless called for by the office-bring their book, notebook, folder or binder, calculator, black or blue ink pen, and a pencil every day-complete their own work, either in class work or homework, and submit it on time-take notes and pay attention to all instruction that is given in class-get the work that they missed and make it up in a timely manner-arrange for additional help when necessary before or after schoolGoal:Students will begin to conceptualize the generalstructure of the atom and the role it plays in determining the properties of materials, the different properties of matter, and the concepts of relative motion, the action/reaction principle, wave behavior, and the interaction of matter and energy.Course DescriptionCourse DescriptionINTEGRATED CHEMISTRY-PHYSICS (L)
Integrated Chemistry-Physics is a laboratory-based course in which students explore fundamental chemistry and physics principles. Students enrolled in this course examine, through the process of scientific inquiry, the structure and properties of matter, chemical reactions, forces, motion, and the interactions between energy and matter. Working in a laboratory environment, students investigate the basics of chemistry and physics in solving real-world problems that may have personal or social consequences beyond the classroom.
